This prototype was made during a VR workshop at Gobelins Paris and CNAM ENJMIN, as part of our game design master.

🎨 Game

Paint-Pet Rush is a VR Game designed to make you break a sweat.

———

A terrible curse has been set on the land. 

Nature colors has been stolen 

And animals have been turned into paper.

Quick! Use the magic brush to free them and bring colors back to the land.

Free as many animals as you can before time runs out. 
Try and get the highest score.

Careful, free them before they touch the ground
otherwise ink will burst out of the floor and make it difficult to see around you.

If you run out of paint, quickly run to the paint bucket to reload your brush.

🛠️ Set up

🚨 Before playing the game make sure you have enough space around you (at least 5m²)

1 — Put you VR headset on and launch the game

2 — On title screen, select one of the modes you want to play

3 — Right controler = magic brush. Wield it to free the paper animals.

Left controler = magic paint bucket. Put it wherever you want on the floor to start the game. If your brush is out of paint, run back to the bucket and dip your brush in it to reload.

The bucket will become a moving target and will increase the cardio aspect of the game.

🎮 Controls

There are 3 types of animals to save in the game. 

They each require a specific movement of the brush to be saved.

1 — Pufferfishes = Simply touch them with the point of your brush

2 — Snakes = Wield the brush horizontally 

3 — Penguins = Wield the brush vertically
